Precious Phiri

I am a founding trustee and a coordinator of IGugu Trust. I am also a trainer, accredited professional (Communal) in Holistic Management by Savory Institute, working mostly in regeneration issues and community organizing. My main interest is working with rural communities (especially) to promote abundance thinking and reverse poverty, desertification, loss of wildlife, and climate change and its effects. I was born in Nkayi, Zimbabwe and raised in one of the Hwange communities- Mabale, and I am currently working in the same region.

Shadreck Phiri

Hi, my name is Shadreck Phiri, a Founding Trustee and Executive Director at iGugu Trust. I have over 25 years of experience in community engagement with local youths and the local church. My passion and role is to support the growth and strategic alignment of the organization.

I coordinate with traditional leaders, local authorities and support the team to ensure a smooth flow in programming. We are excited to serve as we grow this organisation that is working with communities to overcome challenges of poverty, drought and biodiversity loss while helping to create abundance.

Sibonokuhle Moyo

Hi, I am, Sibo, a Programs Manager at iGugu Trust. I have vast experience in marketing regenerative offerings and I am also a monitoring and evaluation practitioner. One of my biggest inspirations in life is witnessing the resilience nature of ecosystems, their ability to regenerate and blossom, sustaining life on Earth despite the unpredictable Climate Change era we live in.

My main interest is to improve the quality and impact of development interventions through evidence-based decision making and learning. I am forever grateful for inspirational people I have crossed paths with; for they have challenged me to embrace the notion that “celebrating efforts” should be an integral component of life because there is no such thing as failure; instead its either you win or you learn.”

My name is Patience Ncube, a farmer, youths and young women mentor from Ndlovu community. I am a Coordinator for Social strengthening programs with iGugu Trust, that help us build a collaborative spirit for the success of all in our community.

Hello world, my name is Nhlalo “Luke” Ncube. A farmer and Ndlovu community. I am part of the leadership structures in our village where I am village secretary. I also do secretarial work for the Sekusile steering committee. I am a coordinator for the Landscape Regeneration Program with iGugu Trust.

Shamiso Mpofu

Hi, my name is Shamiso Mpofu. I am a lead farmer based in Ndlovu community. I am passionate about seed and food matters. I work with iGugu Trust as a Seed and Food Systems Coordinator.
