We recently hosted our friends from PELUM Zimbabwe. They have been moving around the country to different partners implementing agroecological practices, recording stories of resilience in the seed and food systems practices. This year has been declared a disaster in cropping due to the strong Elnino effect that hit Southern Africa. It is in these times that we get to appreciate the role of regenerative agriculture in helping farmers deal with natural shocks. There is a wide variety of wild fruits, legumes, melons, squashes and traditional grains that farmers still gleaned from their fields through the harsh weather. Here's to continuously tapping into nature for the resiliency of all .
